Planning Ministry, NIGSD, and Sawiris Foundation Collaborate to execute 3rd Batch of the Executive Education Program at the University of Chicago

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, in partnership with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, and University of Chicago Booth School of Business is pleased to announce the implementation of the third batch of the Executive Education Program at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Sherifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, met with representatives from the University of Chicago to discuss the successful launch of the third batch of the Executive Education Program. This program, which builds upon the achievements of the first and second batches, aims to cultivate innovative and proactive leaders equipped with the necessary analytical framework to enhance the efficiency of their institutions. By providing essential skills to both the public and private sectors, the program aims to empower leaders to effectively adapt and respond to market changes.
The Executive Education Program was first introduced in 2019, followed by the second batch in March 2023. Its unique model incorporates a blend of public and private sector perspectives, allowing participants to share diverse experiences across different industries. This program stands as a pioneering initiative, bringing together the public and private sectors in a collaborative effort.
Dr. Sherifa Sharif emphasized the significance of this program in fostering leadership development and encouraging institutional growth. She stated, "The Executive Education Program has witnessed remarkable success, and we are confident that the third batch will build upon this momentum. By equipping leaders with the requisite skills and knowledge, we believe they will be better prepared to address the evolving needs and expectations of their organizations."
