Deputy Minister for Planning casts his vote in the 2024 presidential elections

Dr. Ahmed Kamali, Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development, voted in the current presidential elections, at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission held in the New Administrative Capital.
Dr. Ahmed Kamali explained that participating in the presidential elections is the right of every citizen and his duty towards his country to participate democratically in choosing who will lead his country’s progress.
Kamali stressed that political participation is essential to strengthen democratic governance, the rule of law, social inclusion, and economic development, to advance all human rights.
Kamali praised the organization and security witnessed by the electoral process, and the presence of all groups of people, which reflects the civilized form that Egypt has always shown in exercising rights and duties.
Kamali pointed out that the third day of the elections is witnessing a significant influx of those who were unable to participate in the first days, which reflects the national awareness among citizens of the importance of their votes.
