On Cop28 Sidelines: Egypt’s Planning Minister, U.S. Chamber of Commerce VP meet to discuss boosting cooperation

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development meets with Steve Lutes, Vice President, of Middle East Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to discuss ways to enhance cooperation.
The meeting took place during Cop28 which is currently being held starting from November 30 to December 12, 2023, in Dubai.
During the meeting, El-Said discussed Egypt’s national program for structural reforms, which aims to transform the path of the national economy to become a productive economy with competitive advantages to support the economy’s ability to grow sustainably.
She further asserted the Egyptian state’s keenness to support the green transformation in various fields and to do more in this regard.
El-Said also stressed the importance of finance and technology in the field of development, as they are among the main enablers to achieve the desired development process.
