NIGSD organizes a meeting for Children of Determination to introduce the “Salah, Omnia and Development Goals” initiative

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), represented by the African Development Center, held the activities of the fourth meeting in a series of meetings to introduce the “Salah, Omnia and Development Goals” initiative for primary school children from the age of 8 years.
The meeting was held for 18 (Children of Determination) enrolled in Al Amal (Hope) School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, to introduce the initiative and how to achieve UN SDGs.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), said that the “Salah, Omnia and Development Goals” initiative targets children aged 8-12 years and falls within the framework of an integrated plan of NIGSD to spread awareness of UN SDGs at the local and regional levels.
For her part, Dr. Hanan Rizk, Director of the African Development Center at NIGSD, said that the workshop for deaf and hard-of-hearing children is held under the umbrella of the “Salah, Omnia and Development Goals” initiative, which aims to reach all children to achieve The (No Child Left Behind) principle (NCLB).
