Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence, Holding Company for Water and Wastewater honor winners of the Company’s Internal Excellence Award

The Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence team participated, headed by Ambassador Hisham Badr, the Assistant Minister for Strategic Partnerships, Excellence and Initiatives at the ceremony honoring the winners of the Internal Excellence Award at The Holding Company for Water and Wastewater.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development , Soha Saeed, Executive Director of the Award and  Mr. Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of The Holding Company for Water and Wastewater.

During his speech, Ambassador Hisham Badr said that the implementation of the internal awards system in government agencies in the state’s administrative apparatus aims to implement the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030.

He added that this step also supports the state’s efforts to spread and deepen the culture of excellence and institutional development in the various sectors of the state.

Badr also praised the support of the political leadership and the efforts made by the work teams to launch the internal awards system at the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater and its subsidiaries.

Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, stressed the keenness of the Ministry, represented by the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, to provide all means of support to consolidate and sustain a culture of excellence. 

For his part, Engineer Mamdouh Raslan said that the Internal Excellence Award at his company constitutes an important part of the administration’s vision to develop facilities and infrastructure.

He further noted that this step is a real opportunity to develop the human resource and improve performance at the individual and institutional levels.

He added that the next stage will witness coordination with the administration of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, to expand the application of the award in other areas of The Holding Company for Water and Wastewater.
