Dr. Hala Al Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the size of private investment is expected to decline, which in turn will have an impact on the total investment estimated at 740 billion pounds during the fiscal year 20/2021, affected by the Corona Virus crisis. If the crisis continues until the middle of the next fiscal year (2021/20), investments are expected to decline by about 30%.El-Said added that government investment sought to increase from EGP 211 billion in 2019/2020 to EGP 280.7 billion, an increase of 33%, and Treasury-funded investments and loans would increase from EGP 140 billion to EGP 225 billion, an increase of 61%.Dr. Hala Al Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, discussed the key features of the 2020/2021 Sustainable Development Plan today before the House Of Representatives Planning and Budget Committee, during the discussion of the draft state budget.
