NIGSD, MBRSG executive directors meet to discuss aspects of future cooperation

Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) - the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development training arm met recently with Ali Almarri. Executive president at Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) to discuss aspects of future cooperation between the two entities.
The meeting between both figures took place on the sidelines of training the 5th batch of the training program “Excellence in Governance and Sustainability in the Digital Age” for 30 leaders representing 12 entities in the state’s administrative apparatus, at the college’s headquarters in UAE.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif said that the program is part of the strong relationship between Egypt and the UAE and according to the Vision of Egypt 2030 and what it represents as Egypt's key position for comprehensive development and reforms in various sectors.
Sherif explained that the program targets heads of government administrative apparatuses in the state to achieve effective, efficient, and manageable government machinery which in turn will stimulate development.
Sherif explained that the program aims to enhance the value and raise the competencies of the participants, to empower them at the level of leadership of institutions in line with the strategic priorities of the Arab Republic of Egypt in light of the rapid technological developments and the fourth technological revolution.
