Ministry of Planning, NIGSD completes the activities of the "Be a Deaf Sign Language Ambassador" initiative

 The Ministry of Planning and Economy and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) completed the initiative " Be a Deaf Sign Language Ambassador". 

 The Director General of NIGSD Dr. Sherifa Sherif was present at the graduation ceremony. 

 In her speech at the closing ceremony, Dr. Sherifa Sherif emphasized the importance of developing the knowledge of all groups about the goals of sustainable development and how to achieve them. She distributed certificates of attendance to 31 male and female trainees. She also thanked the volunteer sign language interpreters and gave them letters of appreciation for their contribution throughout the training period. 

Amira Hossam, associate minister for sustainable development emphasized the training program to combine theoretical and practical experience through many field visits, including the visit to Al-Ahram Foundation to learn about digital transformation and how it relates to sustainability in the printing, publishing, and distribution process.  

 It is noteworthy that Dr. Hussein Abaza participated in the training camp during the week, as a former UN Environment Program expert.

Moreover, Dr. Nizar Sami who is acting as a technology and digital transformation expert, Dr. Maha Khalil, Deputy Director of the Egyptian Entrepreneurship Center, and innovation and visual artist Randa Fouad, President of the International Art Forum also participated.
