Assistant Minister of Planning, Dakahlia Governor discuss ways of cooperation in several state initiatives

The Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence team, headed by Ambassador Hisham Badr, Assistant Minister of Planning for Strategic Partnerships, Excellence, and Initiatives, General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence, and General Coordinator of the National Initiative for Green Smart Projects, met with Dr. Ayman Mokhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, on an official visit to the governorate.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Hisham Badr congratulated the Governor of Dakahlia on the governorate’s achievements and active participation in the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, whether at the institutional or individual level, to obtain advanced positions over the previous three sessions,
The Aga (Town) obtained first place for the Government Excellence Award for the years 2021 and 2022, and the second for the year 2023.
Mansoura town won first place for the year 2023 in the “Towns” category, while engineer/ Shaima Al-Siddiq won the Best Government Employee Award in the second session 2020, according to Badr.
Ambassador Hisham Badr stressed that Dakahlia’s obtaining these advanced positions reflects the extent of the strength of the governorate’s executive apparatus under the leadership of a young woman keen to spread and deepen the culture of excellence in all sectors of the governorate.
He further pointed out that Dr. Ayman Mukhtar (Dakahlia Governor) won the Distinguished Leaders Award at the Republic level in the first session of the award in 2019.
Badr also pointed out that Dakahlia registered 159 projects in the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects in its second session, in preparation for escalating the winning projects at the national level.
During the visit, Ambassador Hisham Badr and Dr. Ayman Mukhtar made an inspection tour inside the governorate’s general office to see the development work inside the general office, which included the conference hall, meetings, and major parties, the Dakahlia Prominent Figures Museum, the governorate’s technology center, the crisis management hall, and the office’s employees.
The Governor emphasized that Dakahlia is an ancient governorate with an honorable history and has a great reputation for obtaining various awards and multiple centers in all fields and specializations, such as the Decent Life Initiative, the file for legalizing state property, and the file for reconciliation of building violations.
Mokhtar also stressed that the Egypt Award for Government Excellence reflects the Egyptian state’s keenness to stimulate the spirit of competition among employees of the state’s administrative apparatus and encourage their creative ideas.
The governor pointed out that the national initiative for smart green projects came to reflect the achievements of the national efforts made by Egypt to confront climate change, which the whole world is witnessing today, such as what happened in Libya, Morocco and Greece.
