During the meeting, Ambassador Hisham Badr indicated that the launch of the second phase of the internal awards system comes as a continuation of the process of internal excellence in several government institutions to deepen the culture of excellence and enhance the competitive spirit, to contribute to the development of human capabilities and create a qualitative shift in institutional performance and work to qualify entities to participate in The Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence in its next session.

For his part, Engineer Khaled Mustafa praised the cooperation of the university’s leadership, its pioneering role in implementing the university’s standards of excellence, and its active participation in the journey of excellence during the previous cycles of the National Award.

He expressed his appreciation for the role of the Supreme Council of Universities as a primary partner in implementing and supporting the system of excellence within public universities.

During the judging process, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, Director of Educational Institutions Awards at the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, reviewed the mechanisms taken to implement the internal awards, and the stages of work starting with the stage of training excellence ambassadors and residents, which lasted for 790 working hours, and submitting nomination applications.
