NIGSD organizes a training program entitled “The Art of Writing Reports & Presenting Data”

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, held a training program entitled “The Art of Writing Reports and Presenting Data" for a group of directors working at the General Organization For Teaching Hospitals and Institutes.

Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, emphasized that investing in the human element is one of the most important priorities of the Egyptian state because it is the basis for construction and development.

  Dr. Sherifa explained that the development of human resources has become a cornerstone for achieving comprehensive development in the future, especially since the human element has been able to prove that it is the main and effective element in every development plan in any country, so its training and qualification is a top priority.

Sherif explained that the implementation of the training program "The Art of Writing Reports and Presenting Data" is part of a series of training programs to be implemented for the benefit of the the General Organization For Teaching Hospitals and Institutes.

  She further pointed out that the training program aims to develop skills and knowledge related to drafting and writing work reports and memorandums in a professional manner.

The training program covered a number of topics, including a general overview of the importance of writing reports, the general objectives of reports, defining and writing the objective and understanding the audience, building the structure of the report and its various sections, and collecting data and information.

The program also covered preparing a draft report, professional writing, basic tools and methodologies in writing, and editing and proofreading techniques for administrative memos.
