Egypt Award for Government Excellence, HCWW Sign Bilateral Cooperation Agreement

 The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by the Egyptian Government Award for Excellence, and the Drinking Water and Wastewater Holding Company (HCWW) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation for the implementation of the Internal Excellence Award. holding company and its subsidiaries. 

  The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding has become part of the country's efforts to create a culture of excellence and create a qualitative change in the development of institutions in various sectors of the country to improve the quality of life of citizens and improve the administration of the country. 

 

 The signing also took place on the side of the meeting of the Evaluation Committee of Internal Excellence of the Holding chaired by Ambassador Hisham Badr, Director General of the Award for Excellence of Egypt. 

 The committee meeting was attended by Soha Saeed, Director of the Egyptian Government Competency Award, Dr. Mohamed Mohammadi, Director of Evaluation and Quality of the Egyptian Government Competency Award, and Dr. Jarrah Al-Zoubi, Consultant and Performance Development Specialist- Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. 

 

  Dr. Wael Zakaria, Advisor on Institutional Excellence and Digital Transformation, Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Board of HCWW, and Dr. Salah Bayoumi, Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Fund Management Company, also participated in the meeting.

 In his opening remarks, Ambassador Hisham Badr noted that the issuance of internal awards by HCWW, which came at the request of the company to partner with the Award for Excellence of the Egyptian government to launch a system of internal excellence, deepens the culture at the top level of the holding company and its subsidiaries.  

 

 Badr added that the purpose of signing the MoU between the parties is to establish a general cooperation framework and define an effective coordination mechanism between the parties, using the experience of the leadership of the Egyptian government of the Award for Excellence and transfer of expertise and knowledge at the highest level. 

 

 

 

 For his part, engineer Mamdouh Raslan explained that the partnership between HCWW and the Award for Excellence of the Egyptian Government led to the issuance of the Award for Internal Excellence of the Holding, which is the first initiative to implement the concept of excellence in government service sectors to achieve the vision of the Egyptian state of 2030 and complete the renaissance and development of the country.

 

 

 Raslan emphasized that the internal excellence award is a real opportunity to develop human resources, improve performance both at the individual and corporate level, form worthy frameworks according to real evaluation and certain standards.
