National Initiative for Smart Green Projects ESLSCA University Chief Coordinator, CEO Meets to Discuss Improving Cooperation

Ambassador Hisham Badr, Chief Coordinator of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, met Dr. Ali El-Meligy, Chairman of the Board of ESLSCA University in Egypt, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two parties.
At the meeting, Ambassador Hisham Badr confirmed the success of the national initiative in its first session, which ended with the introduction of solutions to environmental problems and climate change.
He showed the importance of the initiative at the national and international levels. Badr explained that the initiative aims to implement smart green projects by maximizing the use of climate solutions and information technology in line with the objectives of the National Climate Change Strategy 2050.
He emphasized on strengthening coordination and partnership among stakeholders in all counties to spread community awareness of climate change challenges. The main coordinator of the initiative emphasized the key role of the initiative in networking with the partners of the winners and various investment and financial offices to expand these projects and provide them with technical and financial support.
Badr emphasized the importance of spreading awareness of the concept of climate change in all governorates of Egypt. This is done through training programs organized by the initiative in universities, counties, and all youth centers, as well as special programs offered online on the platforms of the initiative to support project sponsors and those who wish to participate in future courses.
Ambassador Hisham Badr emphasized the importance of the initiative as an unprecedented model worldwide, because it offers solutions to environmental problems in the governorates and villages of the Arab Republic of Egypt, emphasizing that the goal of this initiative is to find real solutions for the country.
Also, in the first round of the initiative, Badr looked at examples of partnerships between several international organizations and several winning projects to secure the funding they needed. Dr. Ali Al-Meligy, on the other hand, expressed the enthusiasm and interest of the university to collaborate with the national initiative for smart green projects.
