The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development welcomed the students of the Egyptian Student Summer Study Program in its sixth round, which the ministry organizes every year in the presence of Mr. Tariq Abdel-Khalek, Advisor to the Minister for Human Resources

The second group consisted of 44 male and female students from different Egyptian universities and different majors. In the reception ceremony of the set, videos were presented, which explained the work file and role of the ministry in the country, as well as work projects.

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said explained that the ministry is responsible for establishing the vision and plan of the Egyptian state, referring to the Vision of Egypt 2030, which represents the future vision of the country, where mid-term and annual plans are developed internally

El-Said asserted that this plan will be implemented in collaboration with the private sector and civil society, explaining that it is an integral part of the role of the Ministry of Planning and Economy.

El-Said also looked at several initiatives the ministry is currently working on, such as the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects and the Egyptian Government's Award forExcellence, which aims to encourage and motivate public servants to achieve success.

El-Said cited agencies affiliated with the ministry, including the National Institute of Management and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMS), and the Institute of National Planning (INP).

In his speech, Tariq Abdel-Khaleq emphasized the interest of the Ministry of Planning and Economy, which is one of the bodies of the state administrative apparatus, in the summer training program for students.

The ministry’s HR team reviewed the batches that participated in the program since the launch of its first cycle.

The HR team said the program aims to prepare students for the job market, attract young talent and prepare future leaders.
