Deputy Minister of Planning meets the heads of the Africa Business Council to discuss participation in AIRC Summit

The Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr. Ahmed Kamali met recently the heads of the Africa Business Council and the “Innovation and Information for Emerging Businesses” group to discuss participation in the Africa Investment Risk & Compliance Summit 2023 (AIRC Summit).
The meeting tackled ways for the ministry to cooperate as the first government agency in the Africa Investment Risk & Compliance Summit 2023 (AIRC Summit), which is scheduled to be held on It will run on the 2-3 of next October.
During the meeting, Kamali stressed the importance of the Africa Business Council as a non-governmental organization to encourage economic ties between African countries.
Kamali pointed out that the "Innovation and Information for Emerging Businesses" group intends to hold its annual conference in Egypt for the first time under the title "Summit of Investment Risks and Compliance in Africa" in next October.
He explained that the group has chosen Egypt as to organize the-conference due to the weight of Egypt's position among its brothers from the countries.
Kamali added that the objective of the conference to be held is consistent with Egypt's view on the importance of linking investment and activating the participation of the private sector in the economy with regard to climate-related issues to advance the African agenda in climate action.
The attendees explained that the Summit on Investment Risks and Compliance in Africa aims to address the biggest investment challenges in Africa, from enhancing compliance and combating corruption to creating a favorable policy environment for global investors and creating sustainable business models to attract financing.
