NIGSD concludes the training program entitled "Administrative Capacity Development and Anti-Corruption" for heads of primary courts nationwide

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Ministry, concluded the training program in the field of developing administrative capabilities and combating corruption, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice for heads of Primary Courts at the level of the Republic, within the qualification program for preparing judicial cadres (one of the pillars of the cooperation protocol concluded between the two ministries).
The closing ceremony of the program witnessed the presence of Eng. Khaled Mostafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of NIGSD, Eng. Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning for Digital Transformation Affairs, Counselor Khaled El Nashar, Assistant Minister of Justice for Planning Affairs Administrative development and follow-up, Dr. Rehab Farrag, Director General of the Business Development Department at the Institute.
During his speech, Engineer Khaled Mustafa reviewed the role and importance of the permanent undersecretary position in the ministry. The constitution stipulated it and the civil service law included the tasks entrusted to him. In the Ministry of Planning, five departments are affiliated with the permanent undersecretary: strategic management, human resources, financial and administrative affairs, digital transformation, and communication.
Mostafa explained the areas of cooperation between the Ministries of Planning and Justice, including the Egypt Services Project, and the Administration initiative. This initiative simplifies economic legislation procedures.
For her part, Dr. Sherifa Sherif said that the training program comes within the framework of the activities and activities of the Judicial Governance Project under the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Justice represented by the planning, administrative development, and follow-up sector, and the Ministry of Planning represented by the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development regarding upgrading the judicial work system in both its judicial and administrative parts by enhancing the effectiveness of good governance and management.
Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez highlighted the "Egypt Service Centers" project, where the first center was established in Aswan Governorate in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. He stressed that the citizen is the first beneficiary of government services through multiple channels.
Abdel Hafeez referred to the ministry’s role in developing government services at the state level, which began with the development of technology centers for citizens’ services in new urban neighborhoods, cities, and towns, in addition to mobile technology centers and service gathering centers, to speed up the completion of government transactions and develop their performance and means of providing them.
For his part, Counselor Khaled Al-Nashar referred to the areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, including the land inventory system in Egypt, as well as a partnership with the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) and the importance of the data provided by the agency to the ministry.
Al-Nashar pointed to the cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development. He also pointed to the Ministry of Justice's participation in the Institute's training programs. This was done in cooperation with training institutions outside Egypt.
The training program lasted for six days, and the first part of it, entitled Governance and Anti-Corruption, was implemented at the headquarters of the National Anti-Corruption Academy for three days.
The training program dealt with a review of modern ideas for the justice development system, topics on the impact of administrative corruption on national security, information security and protection of personal data, cyber security, Egypt's digital strategy, the national project for digital transformation and information infrastructure and its direct impact on support and strategic decision-making, and a look at national projects and their relationship to combating corruption.
