02 August 2023
The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced measures for rationalizing electricity consumption in the ministry, in light of the directives of the Prime Minister, to start remote work for some employees in government departments and service buildings that are not related to direct dealing with citizens from home using the “Virtual” system throughout the month of August 2023.
The ministry's procedures include applying the work-from-home system to all workers in the ministry on Sunday of every week throughout the month of August, starting from Sunday 6/8/2023, taking into account the exclusion of some workers from this system according to the need for work, including some workers in the central administration for the affairs of the minister's office.
Some workers in the office of the Assistant Minister for Technical Office Affairs are also excluded. They will be determined at the end of each week based on work needs.
The Ministry's procedures also include the necessity of having one or more representatives from the Technical Support Department for Digital Transformation (IT) as well as from the Administrative Affairs Department to provide the necessary support during the presence of employees according to the need for work, and in the case of working from the Ministry's headquarters, coordination is made with Administrative Affairs in advance to take the necessary measures.
It is also permissible to summon any of the other employees to work from the Ministry's headquarters according to the need for work. This is provided that coordination is made with the administrative affairs in advance, and the work of this system is reviewed periodically.
