NIGSD, AUC launch 3rd round of training program entitled “Leading Change in Dynamic Organizations”

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) - the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development - in cooperation with the American University in Cairo (AUC), launched recently the third session of a training program entitled "Leading Change in Dynamic Organizations" for some senior leaders in the state's administrative apparatus representing 12 ministries and agencies.
These government agencies include the Cabinet and several ministries such as Transportation, Finance, Tourism, Electricity, the National Council for Women (NCW), and the Central Auditing Organization.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), said that the training program is being implemented in two phases.
The first phase takes place over two months at the AUC. According to Sherif, the second phase will be implemented outside the country in cooperation with one of NIGSD’s international partners.
She explained that the training program included two phases.
She covered many topics such as public policy analysis, strategic management in the government field, leadership, and institutional reform.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif confirmed that the training program is held within the framework of NIGSD's keenness to cooperate with the most prestigious training agencies and universities. This comes within NIGSD's interest in the training and capacity-building system, to raise workers' efficiency and develop their skills and functional capabilities.
The launch ceremony of the NIGSD program witnessed the presence of Nabil Fouad, Director General of the Business Development and Human Resources Department, Amani El Deeb, Director of the International Cooperation Department, and from the AUC, Marwa Negm, Director of Grants and Government Programs - School of Management and Executive Education.
