The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development participates in a workshop to discuss the draft of the Voluntary Local Review for the Port Said Governorate

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development participated recently in a workshop to discuss the Draft Report of the Voluntary Local Review of Port Said Governorate.

The workshop witnessed the presence of Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, Dr. Mona Essam, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for Sustainable Development Affairs, Dr. Khaled Zakaria, Advisor to the Minister of Planning for Public Policies and Structural Reforms and expert on this file, representatives of the Ministry's Sustainable Development Unit, and representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The workshop aimed to present the draft report that was prepared by the governorate with the support of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in addition to the steps taken to complete it and the most important results that were reached in preparation for the issuance of the final report during the coming period.

The workshop witnessed the participation of a group of stakeholders concerned with the governorate. These stakeholders believe in the importance of the participatory approach to reach fruitful and interactive discussions to achieve the desired development.
