The Minister of Planning and Economic Development Follows Up on the Development of the Egypt Service Center and the Expansion of the Mobile Technology Centers.

The Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Hala El-Said met with the Chairman of E-Finance for FinTech to follow up on the latest developments at the Egypt Service Centers. She also discussed the expansion project targeting mobile technology centers.
During the meeting, Assistant Minister for Digitization, Eng. Ashraf Abdel Hafiz gave a comprehensive presentation covering the operations of the Egypt Service Centers in all the governorates, which already took place especially the Egypt Service Center in Aswan and South Sinai, the centers that are scheduled to be inaugurated in the upcoming few days like the one in Alexandria, and the plan that is being executed since the start of the new fiscal year which includes centers in Cairo, Giza, North Sinai, Gharbiya, and Ismailia.
Furthermore, the Assistant Minister for Digitization highlighted that the mobile technology centers were able to provide the public with about 2 million transactions since the start of its operations, which pushed the ministry to put an expansion plan for the functions of the mobile centers, especially that it offers citizens around 40 different services in one place.
As the meeting progressed, El-Said instructed the "Decent Life" villages to develop a comprehensive plan to provide these mobile centers. This will facilitate citizens' access to services.
Finally, Dr. Hala El-Said announced that the goal of these mobile centers is to provide citizens with the necessary services with the least effort and cost, and the highest quality possible.
She also confirmed that mobile technology centers will be expanded in cooperation with the private sector by assigning whole operations to E-Finance. This is to allow the private sector to contribute to government services development.
