For her part, Dr. Heba Medhat Zaki, Director of the Egypt Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, confirmed that the center seeks to empower Egyptian youth as entrepreneurs and create an entrepreneurial mindset that can generate innovative ideas that help achieve the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030, which intersect with the UN goals of sustainable development. The center also aims to coordinate and support entrepreneurship actors in Egypt. This is in a way that improves the services needed for entrepreneurs and encourages start-ups to start their businesses.
The training camp came to generate the following ideas: Design thinking from challenge to idea under the umbrella of the Sustainable Innovation Lab, one of the Centre's programs, which in its first session targets graduates of the Be an Ambassador program from the second batch.
