Egypt’s Minister of Planning to participate in the G20 Development Ministers' Meeting in Indian

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, will leave tomorrow for India to participate in the G20 Development Ministers’s Meeting.

El-Said is participating in the meeting in her capacity as chair of the current session of the group from 11 to 13 June.

The meeting aims to provide delegations and participants with information on administrative and logistical arrangements, as the meetings of the current period will witness a session entitled (Collective Pluralistic Actions to Accelerate Progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals) and another session entitled (Green Development - A Lifestyle). 

G20 is the premier forum for international economic cooperation, and plays an important role in shaping and strengthening the global architecture and governance on all major international economic issues.
