On the Sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Bank for Development group: The Minister of Planning and Economic Development Celebrates the Launch of the Private Sector Forum

The Minister of Planning and Economic Development and Egypt’s Governor at the Islamic Bank for Development (IsDB) Hala El-Said participated in the launching ceremony of the Private Sector Forum taking place on the sidelines of the annual meetings of IsDB, hosted by private sector institutions belonging to the bank group , including the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector and the International Trade Finance Cooperation,from May 11thto the 13th
The minister of Planning and Economic Development and Egypt’s Governor at IsDB Hala El-Said is scheduled to address support for partnerships that could influence saving the sustainable development goals. The Private Sector Forum aims to highlight IsBD’s activities, services, and initiatives in the member states, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to offer the unique chance for the business community from different sectors to meet, communicate, explore investment and trade opportunities available at the member states.
High-level government officials, presidents and CEOs of local, regional, and international private companies, investors, businessmen, trade and industry chambers, trade and investment promotion agencies, regional and international monetary institutions. Seventy speakers are participating in the forum’s 15 discussion sessions with 2000 participants from over 80 countries. It is important to note that the forum will witness the signing of more than 70 memorandums of understanding and agreements.
Furthermore, the forum will witness bilateral meetings that bring together businessmen on the one hand, and businessmen and government officials on the other (B2B and B2G), aiming to communicate, create partnerships, and build trade relations. In addition to the partnership gallery, the startup partnership competition, and for the first time, notable organizations and personalities will be honored by the entities of the Islamic Bank for Development Group.
