“Rowad 2030”, South Valley University sign an agreement to spread the culture of entrepreneurship

The “Rowad (Pioneers) 2030” project of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development signed a cooperation agreement with South Valley University in Qena Governorate.
The signed agreement aims to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and supporting the idea of free work among the youth within the framework of the "One Million Entrepreneurs" campaign. The protocol comes in light of the establishment of incubators and an entrepreneurship center at South Valley University.
The protocol was signed by Dr. Ghada Khalil, director of the “Rowad 2030” project, and Dr. Youssef Gharbawi, president of South Valley University.
In this context, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development explained that the protocol aims to allocate some grants to South Valley University students on the platform of the "One Million Entrepreneurs" campaign, which aims to qualify one million entrepreneurs by 2030 within the framework of the sustainable development strategy Egypt’s Vision 2030.
On her part, Dr. Ghada Khalil, Director of the “Rowad 2030” project, asserted that it was agreed between the two parties to establish the first business incubator at South Valley University to serve the university's youth and encourage work in it, as this incubator contributes to supporting university students and graduates to develop their ideas and turn them into projects on Ground.
Khalil added that the “Rowad 2030” project aims to stimulate the spirit of innovation and spread the culture of self-employment and entrepreneurship among all segments of society, especially young people who are the main pillar for achieving the hopes and aspirations of the state.Khalil indicated that the project identifies activities that help establish an integrated system for innovation, through some activities, including the organization of workshops and training courses to qualify students and youth.
Dr. Youssef Gharbawi, President of South Valley University, praised the “Rowad 2030” project, which aims mainly to stimulate and enrich the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Egypt.
Following the signing of the protocol, Dr. Youssef Gharbawi presented the university shield to Dr. Ghada Khalil due to the effort made by the “Rowad 2030” project in supporting youth, and for his pioneering role in spreading the culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment among them.
On the sidelines of the signing of the cooperation protocol, the first introductory seminar was held for the "One Million Entrepreneurs" campaign, where a detailed presentation was presented to university students, including steps for applying for training courses, program stages, and facilities that university students receive
