“H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Egypt’s Minister of Planning attaches special importance to empowering women as one of the most critical pillars that would advance the wheel of development in the country” Ambassador Hisham Badr said.

Badr added that, as a complement to these efforts, Egypt's National Initiative for Smart Green Projects has paid special attention to activating women's role in climate action, and has allocated a category for projects related to women's empowerment.
