The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development holds the second induction meeting to cool "Peace, Security and Development Goals" for African children

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, held the second induction meeting of the "Reform, Security and Development Goals" initiative for a group of children representing a number of countries on the African continent residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Dr. Sharifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, said in her speech on behalf of Dr. Hannan Rizek, Director of the African Development Centre; The meeting is part of a series of introductory meetings for the initiative "Salah, Security and Development Goals". The first meeting was held with the children of the Youth Coordination Initiative of Parties and Politicians "My Ebni Adiba " in the presence of 25 children from the elementary stage.
Sharif explained that the initiative launched through the African Development Center; It falls within the framework of an integrated plan developed by the Institute to spread awareness of the UN goals at the local and regional levels, noting that it relies on presenting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for children in the form of simplified and attractive stories targeting Egyptian children as well as African speakers of the Arabic language, which comes in light of the Institute's contribution to Achieving the objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030 and the aspirations of the African continent's agenda 2063 "The Africa We Want".
In addition , Sherif noted that at the end of each story there is a simplified action plan as a set of practical activities that children can undertake In order to reach the idea of children through various life attitudes, which are designed to fit the customs and traditions of Egyptian society and help instill positive values in children, which have a significant impact on the preservation of the environment and the development of Egyptian and African societies in order to meet the continent's needs at present without compromising the capacity of future generations.
Dr. Sharifa Sharif emphasized in her speech about Dr. Hanan Rezek the Institute is keen to develop and continuously develop awareness-raising, education and training tools to reach more effectively each category of society. We have launched many successful initiatives for children, such as the Green Minds Initiative, as well as a wide range of initiatives targeting the Egyptian and African Youth Group and initiatives targeting the Egyptian and African Women category, as well as initiatives that have contributed to the integration of groups with special needs also at the local and continental levels.
