After Signing the Cooperation Protocol for the Financial Incentives of the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Said Announces: The Incentives Program Aims at Family Development by Offering Women Savings Amount at the age of 45

Our main goal is to preserve women's and children’s health and face the challenge of population growth.
Incentivizing women, 21-45 years old, to go to the family development clinics for routine follow-ups.
Annual savings for women within the framework of the project that women will receive under a set of criteria.
Each woman will get a lump sum after reaching the age of 45; the sum differs depending on the beneficiary’s age at her first enrollment.
The table for the total sums that beneficiaries will receive is to be announced soon.

The Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr. Hala El-Said announced that the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family seeks to enhance the quality of life of Egyptian citizens by adjusting the population growth and improving the population characteristics. She also pointed out that today’s cooperation protocol signing aims to incentivize women between the ages of 21 to 45 to attend routine follow-ups at the family development clinics, to save an annual amount that married women with a maximum of 2 offsprings receives at the age of 45. This is in the framework of the president’s directives for steady support, from the Ministry of Finance to the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family, and incorporating it in the project’s budget for the current and following fiscal years.
This came after signing a cooperation protocol with the Ministry to Finance regarding the financial incentives program on the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family that was witnessed by Prime Minister Mostafa Matbouly.
Furthermore, Dr. Hala El-Said declared that the total sums that participants will receive are going to be calculated based on their age at enrollment will be announced soon. These sums will be set based on a set of criteria. Additionally, she stressed that population characteristics are an important element adding to the state’s power. In other words, education, poverty level, and job opportunities are intertwined, as the issue of population growth concerns the Egyptian population, and it is very important to integrate these powers to face the population issue and manage based on a development and human rights perspective in order to achieve development which can not be achieved with a high population growth rate.
Finally, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development clarified that the ministry will strictly impose the criteria of the project and will ensure it; participants’ age will be between 21-45, regular follow-ups, and beneficiaries must abide by these rules. In addition, Dr. El-Said explained that building the project will be building a database and regularly updating it.
