The Rowad 2030 (entrepreneurs 2030) project of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development celebrated the graduation of about 700 women from the (Ra’aidat 2030) (Womenpreneurs 2030) program, which is carried out in cooperation between the project and the community enterprise Enterprenelle, which was launched at the World Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh in January 2022.
Dr. Ghada Khalil indicated that the (Entrepreneurs 2030) project is a business accelerator to support commercial projects and provide opportunities for women to launch and develop their businesses. It also raises awareness and provides resources for establishing emerging projects in Egypt.
Khalil stated that the program does not only target female entrepreneurs but also entrepreneurs. It is a fully funded program in all its stages by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by the Rowad 2030 project.
Khalil explained that (Entrepreneurs 2030) provides women with free online training workshops in many areas, including business modeling, marketing, finance, legal aspects, business development, and others.
The director of the Rowad 2030 project also confirmed that the program has three main tasks: helping to increase productivity and efficiency for women-owned companies, and enhancing access to suitable job opportunities and projects for women in Egypt.
For their part, the beneficiaries of the (Ra’aidat 2030) program confirmed that the program is a very valuable addition, as it contains training workshops to learn how to plan a business model and the basics of marketing, sales, and business development.
