Ministry of Planning, NMI conclude with the Executive Leadership Program for African Women

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the National Management Institute (NMI) concluded the Executive Leadership Program for African Women, which lasted for 12 days with the participation of about 100 women from about 45 African countries.H.E. Dr. Hala El Said, minister of planning and economic development, indicated that the program aims to contribute to the social and economic development of the African continent, and the empowerment of African women.For her part, Dr. Sherifa El Sherif, Executive Director of the National Management Institute (NMI) explained that the program relied on enhancing the knowledge and skills of African women who have already reached high positions in African governments.The training program depended on presenting the experience of the Egyptian government through the activities and initiatives undertaken by the government. The program also focused on African integration and cooperation as part of the Africa 2063 strategy, and as a major goal in the sustainable development strategy, Egypt's Vision 2030.The Ministry of Planning and the NMI have sent letters of nomination for the program through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to 50 African countries, and contacts have also been made with the embassies of those countries in Egypt to nominate female trainees.
