The Egyptian state is expanding the establishment of nurseries and childcare centers: Planning MinisterThe Ministry of Planning and Economic Development held a celebration of the ideal mother and father for the ministry’s workers, in the presence of Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development to honor a number of the ministry’s employees.
During the celebration, El-Said congratulated the ministry’s employees on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, pointing out that this celebration confirms the family spirit within the ministry, as well as harmony among all the ministry’s employees.
El-Said pointed to the importance of building the Egyptian human being and the Egyptian personality, in which very many factors contribute, including the family, the home, the school, the workplace, the university.
El-Said stressed the importance of the role of the mother and women in general in building the family and bonding within the family and its importance in building a stable and conscious personality capable of contributing to Homebuilding.
El-Said pointed out that the success of women in carrying out their role comes with the support and assistance of society, at all levels, whether within the family or the work, stressing that women are the focus of the family because they are the ones who are raised and raised, and if they succeed in their role, a strong generation will emerge capable of bearing the responsibility.
El-Said addressed the importance of the Equal Opportunities Unit at the Ministry of Planning, calling for the establishment of similar units in all ministries, pointing to the unit’s role in spreading awareness and culture within state institutions of the importance of the role of women.
She indicated that President El-Sisi has assigned the Ministry of Planning to monitor the status of women in leadership positions, at the level of the state’s administrative apparatus, and the level of state institutions as a whole, and the private sector as well.
El-Said pointed to the efforts of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) in cooperation with the National Council for Women in support and empowerment of women, noting the importance of training women in leadership skills.
El-Said stressed that training gives opportunities for selection, so the more a person is trained in many skills and ideas, the greater his ability to choose, explaining the importance of training on digital aspects because it helps to use the internet more, especially in light of an increasing digital divide among women.
El-Said pointed to the state’s expansion in establishing nurseries and care centers for children, pointing to the Ministry of Planning’s support for the Ministry of Social Solidarity in expanding the establishment of nurseries at the national level.
El-Said referred to the ministry's responsibility for the Egyptian family development project, which is based on concern and upgrading the characteristics of the population by increasing investment in health, education, and technology, as well as working to control the population growth rates.
El-Said explained that the most important pillars of this plan are the economic empowerment of women, pointing to transforming integration centers into centers for women's health all over Egypt.
The plan also includes awareness and cultural pillars, stressing that the state aims through this plan to have a strong and well-educated generation that achieves high productivity and contributes efficiently to building society in a better way.
El-Said concluded her speech during the ceremony by stressing that humanitarian meetings are one of the most important things that build institutions well and contribute to raising productivity efficiency and motivating workers, pointing to the importance of honoring distinguished employees permanently to motivate them to continue to excel.
