The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by Ms. Amira Hussam, Assistant Minister for Sustainable Development Affairs, participated in the symposium organized by the Community Service Committee at the College of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science at The British University in Egypt on various training opportunities.
During her participation, Amira reviewed the most prominent opportunities and training programs offered by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development - the ministry's training arm - for employees, youth, and university students.
She said that the training programs that are offered come within the framework of keenness to constantly communicate with young people and strive to train them and enhance their skills, noting the importance of directing support to youth and involving them in the decision-making process.
She also drew during her participation to the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Planning that targeted youth, such as the "Be an Ambassador" initiative, which aims to raise awareness of sustainable development goals and spread a culture of sustainability among youth, in addition to the Rowad 2030 project and the programs it contains that allow young people to learn about the idea of entrepreneurship and enabling them to implement their projects on the ground, in addition to the educational platform "Estidama" of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, which provides many training programs for distance learning.
