Ministers of Planning and Education Discuss Details of Ministry of Education Investment Plan 2020/2021

Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development received Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education at an extended meeting to discuss the details of the ministry's investment plan for the fiscal year 2020/2021, and to discuss the necessary needs of the ministry's action plan.
During the meeting, Dr. Hala El-Said highlighted that education is the key to achieving the progress and development of society as the tool of development and the means of human development. The education sector is therefore at the forefront of human development, and the development plan focuses its programs to promote and develop education services to meet the demands of the present time.
El-Said said that the 2019/2020 Sustainable Development Plan was aimed at directing total public and private investments at EGP 48.1 billion, with a growth rate of 19.7% compared to 18/2019.
She added that four main topics were discussed: reducing the intensity of classes, and the technical education plan, which has become a central issue with the increasing population, in addition to discussing the topic of instilling concepts of sustainable development among children through the educational curriculum, pointing out that some books were prepared to simplify the concepts of sustainable development, within the framework of Egypt Vision 2030 and sustainable development. She noted that sustainability and conservation of Egypt's resources for future generations is one of the key issues that the Egyptian state is keen on.
In the meeting, Rowad 2030 Project was discussed as well as the results achieved in training students and teachers in entrepreneurship, pointing out that the thought of self-employment arises into children from a young age.
