Planning Ministry implements a new set of projects to develop government services

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development signed two cooperation protocols, the first with the Ministries of Justice, Communications and Information Technology on managing and operating mobile authentication branches that follow the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Authority, and the second with the Ministry of Local Development on managing and operating mobile technology centers that provide services to localities.Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the Ministry of Planning is laying down a strategy that ensures the improvement of the level of services provided to the citizen through means and techniques that keep pace with the rapid technological development and facilitate access to services.
This is within the framework of the ministry’s role in the phase of building Egypt to achieve economic and social development and accelerate the transformation of the state’s economy into an entity based on science, knowledge, and technology, as well as the advancement of the government sector, which is a fundamental pillar for the development of individuals ’lives and the development of the economy.El-Said explained that this role comes in light of the implementation of the trend the state is moving towards a digital transformation process, and starting from the axis of transparency and efficiency of government institutions in the sustainable development agenda “Egypt Vision 2030”.
El-Said explained that the first protocol that was signed with the Ministries of Justice, Communications and Information Technology aims to provide cars that operate as mobile authentication branches nationwide, equipped with the necessary equipment and devices to support fixed authentication branches in the event of a crowd of citizens or to drive them to places of mass gatherings or to serve transportation to provide their services.About the second protocol signed with the Ministry of Local Development, El-Said stated that it aims to secure mobile technology centers equipped with the equipment and devices necessary to work with all the capabilities of their fixed counterparts managed by the Ministry of Local Development and which the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development developed and enabled, in addition to providing qualified human cadres to work on the system Localities who have been trained and known for their competence, as well as the means of linking to enter the work system. These mobile technology centers are located in the most crowded places to relieve pressure on fixed technology centers crowded with citizens, as well as places that do not have fixed technology centers, in addition to implementing quality standards within mobile service centers that deal directly with the public, as well as following up and ensuring the sustainability of the operation of mobile technological centers that were developed to work in the governorates.According to the first protocol, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development will manage and deliver the Ministry of Justice with the asset transfer system for the benefit of the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Authority, 20 vehicles equipped to provide mobile authentication services to citizens, in addition to equipping mobile authentication branches with a television monitoring system that can be linked to the agency responsible for operating (interest Real estate registration - Real Estate Registration Authority Information Center - Ministry of Justice), in addition to equipping the mobile authentication branches subject of this protocol with the necessary devices to work on the system and printing the outputs of the transactions.According to the second protocol, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development is obligated to manage a number (20) of mobile technology centers that can be increased in the future according to the conditions of need, assess the use and return, and be handed over to the Ministry of Local Development, in addition to equipping the mobile technology centers with furniture and all the requirements required to receive citizens, as well as providing technological centers. The mobile technological centers have a TV surveillance system that can be linked to the agency responsible for operating (the district/city council/province) as well as the operating company, in addition to providing the mobile technology centers with the necessary electronic devices.
