Planning Ministry, NIB delegations follow up on the executive position of the FY 2022/2023 investment projects in Gharbia Governorate

A high-profile delegation from Egypt’s Planning and Economic Development Ministry and the National Investment Bank (NIB) visited recently Gharbia Governorate to follow up on the executive position of the governorate's investment plan for the fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023.
H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, also serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Investment Bank (NIB) which is a state-owned bank.
The Ministry's delegation was headed by Dr. Heba Mogheeb, Head of the Regional Planning Sector, and the Bank's delegation was headed by Mr. Sayed Zakaria Al-Bahi, Senior Undersecretary and Supervisor of the Local Administration Sector.
Dr. Heba Moghib clarified that the visit came as part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and NIB for the-field follow -up of the projects of the fiscal year 2022/23 in all governorates.
Moghib said that the visit tour included the inspection of roads’ paving projects in
different towns and cities of the governorate, a number of productive projects like egg production, development of the Nile shore in Tanta , Al Mahala Al Kobra, and Samanoud cities.
The field tour also includes inspection of lighting and electricity projects,
to support local units.
Moreover, the tour also inspected projects to develop police, traffic and firefighters stations, and the construction of a unit for unified control for the national network for emergency and general safety.
By the end of the tour field , the delegations met withal Gharbia Governor Dr. Tarek Rahmy, and his deputy Dr. Ahmed Atta along with other officials.
