The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development launches the cadastral survey complaints’ platform

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by the National Center for Spatial Information Infrastructure (NSDI), launched recently the cadastre complaints platform.
The aforementioned platform is receiving complaints by sending a text message to the number 1440.
This service is linked to the cadastral declaration mentioned in the Real Estate Publication Law as one of the documents required to advertise a property.
H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, explained that the launch of the platform comes as one of the main goals of sustainable development plans to improve the service provided to the citizen and speed up the resolution of complaints related to cadastral elevation.
El-Said explained that the platform allows citizens to send complaints related to the surveying service, whether the surveying service is delayed, modifying metadata, or refunding the fees for surveying services, whether submitting through the electronic surveying portal or the technology centers in the governorates.
She added that the platform contributes to facilitating citizens to communicate complaints to the assigned authority and speeding up the procedures for considering the complaint and ending the procedures.
One fundamental aim of the (National Center for Spatial Information Infrastructure) (NSDI) at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development is to unify the specifications used in the creation and publication of spatial data, and to protect the informational rights and privileges associated with the place.
