EGYPT AWARD FOR GOV'T EXCELLENCE hosts a workshop for municipalities representatives

EGYPT AWARD FOR GOV'T EXCELLENCE  held  recently a workshop on the themes and concepts of institutional excellence.
The workshop took place at the headquarters of the Local Development Center in Sqara, in the presence of representatives from municipalities and technological centres in the governorates.
Eng. Khaled Mustafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, explained that the workshop is part of the Award's plan to spread the culture of excellence and raise awareness of institutional excellence themes.
Meanwhile , Soha Saeed, Executive Director of the Egyptian Award for Government Excellence, reviewed a number of institutional excellence topics during the workshop, including concepts and pillars of institutional excellence.
Soha Saeed also mentioned the dimensions and pillars of Egypt's Vision 2030, which are consistent with the award's vision, mission, and objectives.
Saeed outlined the criteria that the government’s institutional excellence model is depending on such as achieving 60 % of Egypt’s 2030 vision.
These criteria also include the seven stars services, e & smart government as well as the innovation hub that includes looking ahead, mechanisms and steps taken by government institutions primarily to develop proactive policies and initiatives based on a sound outlook for the future.
On the categories of the Egypt Government Excellence Award, Soha Saeed explained that the award includes 20 different categories within the awards of institutional and individual excellence.
On the top of these categories is the institutional excellence ward that includes the Foundation Award, which is divided into local units awards in the governorates (Town, City, District, Village) as well as the Equal Opportunities and Women's Empowerment Award introduced at the third session of 2022.
It also includes Individual Excellence Awards; Outstanding Leaders Award, Best Civil Servant Award, Best Government Team.
