Training of two million women within the Egyptian Family Project: Planning Minister

Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said about the implementation of the national project plan for the development of the Egyptian family that the ministry has a huge and detailed database on Egyptian families and their numbers in every village.Moreover, it has a system of instantaneous births and deaths that reveals the birth of every child or girl for every family and the count of this child in the family, and the time of birth.
El-Said emphasized that the state's investments in infrastructure have yielded immediate benefits, noting that there is a plan based on a set of pillars, the first of which is the economic pillar.El-Said explained that women's obtaining financial independence is one of the important factors, according to the plans made by Egypt, as all the results of the extraction from those plans and some studies are taken into account, pointing out that studies have been conducted on more than 14 countries that have an increase in average fertility rates when a woman.
On the economic empowerment of women, El-Said stressed that it is one of the most effective and positive results, stressing that 2 million women will be trained within 3 years, in addition to establishing many small and micro enterprises for about one million women, in integration with the National Council for women, social solidarity, and the small enterprises' authority.Regarding the second pillar, El-Said explained that the demographic survey revealed that there are women who need navel regulation but an unmet need, confirming that home visits and training of rural pioneers will be provided, as well as the Ministry of Health, provides some female doctors according to the desire of women to meet the need while providing means of regulation.
El-Said pointed to the third pillar, which is the awareness and cultural axis, referring to the agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education and the formation of a committee to develop some curricula for the youth group due to its importance due to its approaching the age of marriage.El-Said explained that male youth in some governorates are targeted by these campaigns more than young women, pointing out that awareness programs will be held in cooperation with some ministries to spread that culture, pointing to the role of drama concerning the Ministry of Culture as it works to prepare programs and series about family planning.On the digitization pillar, El-Said explained that we have a basic information structure where all these programs are linked in one database.El-Said pointed out that several proposals are being researched and studied to motivate families to adhere to the number of children that are in line with the goals of the family development plan, as well as safe periods between childbearing times, in addition to a commitment to conducting the required medical examinations before marriage, and breast cancer screening at the age of 40, And organizing training courses for those who are about to get married, to contribute to achieving multiple benefits for the Egyptian family.El-Said said that Egyptian women are living in their most prosperous times today, as the Egyptian state places the file of support and empowerment of women at the top of its priorities, with the support of the political leadership, as well as the plans put in place to achieve gender equality and ensure equal opportunities.El-Said added that women are enjoying unprecedented economic, social and political empowerment, as women now represent the people as a member of Parliament, as well as we find Egyptian women at the top of the ministry and we find the Egyptian government with a large number of Egyptian ministers, in addition to the representation of Egyptian women in international forums, this came on the sidelines of a celebration Egypt on the Egyptian Women's Day yesterday
