During the meeting, El-Said listened to a detailed presentation by Eng. Magdy Ghazi, Executive Director of the city of Tarbol, reviewed the city's general plan for an area of 109 million square meters. She also studied the stages of connecting utilities and relying on clean energy.

According to the project consultant, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jarf, it seeks to become an integrated industrial city incorporating the most significant industries, as well as international and local partners who have already begun planning for the implementation of their projects in the near future.

Dr. Hala El-Said asserted the state's interest in giving the private sector appropriate opportunities for growth and expansion.

This was reflected in the state ownership document, and the coming period will witness more granting the private sector opportunities for growth, expansion, and partnership in various sectors.

El-Said stressed the importance of increasing private sector projects in the field of industrial and technological localization, and that the city of Tarbol also agrees with the state's structural reform program launched in mid-2021 to develop and maximize the real economy's return.
El-Said also indicated that there are many opportunities for cooperation between Tarbol and TSFE. This will attract more direct investments to the industrial sector in cooperation with local and international partners.
For his part, Eng. Sherif Hamouda explained that the city of Tarbol is a model for cooperation between the state and the private sector. This is to create a suitable climate for the development of the industrial sector and provide opportunities for the establishment of large and medium factories, even small industrial projects.
He added that the city of Tarbol has succeeded in attracting many international companies working in the clean energy sector, green hydrogen, and electronics. In addition, the city plans to establish a food valley that includes some food industries and a large market for vegetables and fruits.
Hammouda also explained that the city of Tarbol plays an influential developmental role in the development of the governorates of northern Upper Egypt. It can provide thousands of job opportunities for the people of Upper Egypt.
