Planning Ministry's delegation follows up on the executive position of the investment plan projects for FY 2022/2023 in the Red Sea Governorate.

A delegation of the Planning Ministry and the National Investment Bank paid a visit recently to the Red Sea Governorate to follow up on the executive position of the investment plan projects for fiscal 2022/2023 for the governorate, with a focus on the projects of the city of Shalatin.
During the visit, the delegation met Major General Muhammad Al-Bandari, the Secretary General of the Governorate, and the officials in the governorate.H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development highlighted that the evaluation of the implementation position of the projects included in the investment plan in all governorates on the ground, contributes to improving the governance process and spending efficiency, especially the government's investment spending.El-Said asserted the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development's keenness to overcome obstacles that may face these projects during the implementation process.For her part, Dr. Heba Mogheeb explained that the visit included the follow-up of several projects in Shalateen, which included the completion and development of the fishing port, the completion of the water desalination plant, the project to complete the slaughterhouse, an alternative project for slums, and the Bukha electricity and lighting project.This is in addition to the work of paving separate roads in the cities of governors. The automatic slaughterhouse project in Hurghada, the traffic department development project, as well as the parking lot development, are also part of this project.
