Planning minister, Suez Governor discuss developments in the 2023/22 investment plan for the governorate

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, received Major General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Governor of Suez, to discuss the developments of the current investment plan for the fiscal year 2023/22.During the meeting, Dr. Hala El-Said stated that the Suez Governorate is experiencing a development renaissance.She also stressed the importance of flexibility in how to reroute funds in the investment plan, especially in the governorates. Taking into account the dimensions of governance and citizens' interests within each governorate.El-Said explained that the current year is witnessing changes in social and political dimensions that must be considered during work with the governorates.Meanwhile, the governor of Suez referred to the projects in the governorate's plan, and the obstacles that prevent the implementation of some works, pointing to the tasks of canals, roads on canals, sanitation for the Al-Ganayen neighborhood, and the completion of the urban development project in the governorate.During the meeting, the two parties also discussed the establishment of the "Egypt Services Center" in Suez Governorate, which will represent a qualitative leap in the field of developing government services in the governorate, to facilitate the provision of services to citizens in a way that saves time and effort and with high efficiency.Dr. Heba Mogheeb, head of the regional planning sector, reviewed the most significant projects of the Suez Governorate investment plan, as well as those that have already been completed and those that are in progress, as well as the follow-up systems for these projects to determine the executive position of each project.Kamal Nasr, Assistant Minister for Technical Office Affairs, and Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, Deputy Governor of Suez attended the meeting.
