The National Project for Development of the Egyptian Family's Ministerial Committee oversees the execution of the project plans.

The Ministerial Committee for the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family held a meeting chaired by H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, to discuss and follow up on the executive position of the project plans.
The video-conference meeting was attended by Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Maya Morsi, Head of the National Council for Women, Dr. Amira Tawadros, Director of the Demographic Center, Kamal Nasr, Assistant Minister of Planning for Technical Affairs and Noha Talaat, Secretary of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action.
During the meeting, the attendees emphasized that the National Project for Development of the Egyptian Family seeks to improve the quality of life of Egyptian citizens. This is achieved by controlling population growth and improving demographic characteristics.
The project encompasses several pillars: economic empowerment, social interventions, cultural awareness, educational interventions, and legislative action.
The attendees also indicated that several indicators were identified to measure the performance and effectiveness of the interventions and procedures for the various pillars of the project.
The attendees discussed the implementation of a family development strategy, and the progress of projects, within the framework of working to reach the specific goals to achieve the economic empowerment of women, provide family planning methods, raise citizens’ awareness of the social and economic effects of population increase, and mechanize and link all services provided to the Egyptian family.
