Egypt’s Planning minister follows up on the arrangements for disbursing the last batch of the irregular employment grant

The Non-Regular Employment Support Committee held a meeting chaired by Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, via video conference. The meeting took place with the participation of Mrs. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Maya Morsi, Chairman of the National Council for Women, Dr. Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the Egyptian Postal Authority, Dr. Osama El-Gohary, Director of the Information and Decision Support Center in the Council of Ministers and representatives of the Central Bank, the Administrative Control Authority and the Ministry of Manpower. The meeting discussed the procedures for disbursing the last batch of the presidential grant for irregular workers.During the meeting, the efforts made since the presidential grant began to be disbursed and until now were reviewed, the numbers of grant applicants, the numbers of those entitled to it, the terms of entitlement, and the review of data and verification of their validity.The Minister of Planning and Economic Development thanked the members of the committee for their efforts and what they had provided, stressing the need to continue exerting more efforts to implement the presidential directives to disburse the new batch of the irregular employment grant.
El-Said directed the necessity to ensure the conditions of eligibility, review the data of the applicants, and ensure that all those eligible for the grant receive the amounts set for them, whether through post offices or a mobile phone wallet, following the conditions of entitlement set by the committee and agreed upon.
