We are keen to implement the state’s approach to digital transformation: says Hala El-Said

The delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in charge of the Localities Development Project visited several cities in Aswan Governorate, and the town of Atfih in Giza Governorate, as part of the follow-up to work progress in the technological centers in the governorates.Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, explained that the ministry's role in developing the performance of government services, simplifying procedures for obtaining them, and providing better and faster service to the Egyptian citizen, stems from the pillar of transparency and efficiency of government institutions in the sustainable development agenda "Egypt Vision 2030".El-Said stressed that the ministry is keen to continue working in the technology centers in all governorates to overcome any obstacles that may face the progress of work in them, in addition to providing the necessary training for workers in these centers to keep pace with technological changes and to ensure the transition to the mechanization process without difficulties.El-Said added that the keenness to complete the process of automating services in technology centers comes in light of the implementation of the state’s approach towards the process of digital transformation, pointing to the completion of the mechanization and development of 261 technology centers out of a total of 307 centers across Egypt.During the visit to Aswan Governorate, the delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development headed by Major General Muhammad Ezzi, General Supervisor of the Localities Development Project at the Ministry, attended a meeting with Dr. Ghada Abu Zeid, Deputy Governor of Aswan, mayors of cities and directors of engineering departments to present the objectives of the project, the return, and the updates that took place in the system, especially the entire work cycle to request Seriousness of reconciliation, tightening control over financial proceeds, especially the collection of installments. The delegation also passed through the cities of Kalabsha, Seba’a, Al Busayliyah, Rudisiyah, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo and held meetings with city leaders to review data and test candidates for training. Training will continue in these cities on the applications until mid-April.The delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development headed by Brigadier General Sameh Zakaria, Director of the Localities Development Project at the Ministry visited the center and city of Atfih in Giza Governorate to follow up the progress of the training process.
The city’s technology center was also passed over to ensure that each employee knows his work tasks and how to receive requests and print different forms in the work cycle.
