Planning Ministry delegation heads to the village of Sheikh Masoud in Minya

The delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development headed by Dr. Jamil Helmy, Assistant Minister for Follow-up Affairs of the Sustainable Development Plan, and Mr. Muhammad Farid, Assistant Minister for National Projects, went to Sheikh Masoud village.
The visit comes within the framework of the delegation's field tour to Minya Governorate, which continues for the second day in a row, intending to ensure the completion rates and the absence of obstacles in the villages of the presidential initiative "A Decent Life", in addition to ensuring the quality of implementation according to the specified specifications.Dr. Jamil Helmy, Assistant Minister of Planning for the Follow-up of the Sustainable Development Plan explained that the village of Sheikh Masoud is in the center of Al-Adwa, which has a population of 23,000; The number of interventions in it is 14, including the installation of roofs for 73 homes, the installation of 171 water connections, 171, the extension of drinking water networks, in addition to the total replacement of the health unit in the village and the installation of 145 lighting poles, as well as the installation of 5 electrical transformers.
Dr. Jamil Helmy pointed out that the cost of the completed projects amounted to EGP 33.5 million, and the total cost of all projects was EGP 35 million.
