Planning Ministry announces the graduation of 7th batch of Master’s in Governmental Business Administration from the University of Alaska

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced the graduation of the seventh batch of Master’s degree in government business administration from the University of Alaska in Egypt, within the framework of the co-operation protocol signed between both entities.The protocol stipulated the establishment of a branch of the University of Alaska in Egypt, according to which the university is committed to providing 1500 scholarships to train the employee government.
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, explained that the seventh batch witnessed the graduation of 21 male and female students representing 11 ministries.The graduates of the seventh batch came from the governorates of Menoufia and Minya, the governorate of Menoufia is accounted for the highest percentage of graduates with eight graduates, with females having the largest percentage of them.El-Said indicated that the eighth batch of students is about to graduate, as the ninth batch began the study phase this January, explaining that the remaining batches of the program according to the protocol amount to 3 batches with 450 grants out of a total of 1,500 grants targeted by the program.
El-Said added that the program comes within the framework of the political leadership’s interest in qualifying the cadres working in the state’s administrative apparatus, as well as in light of the implementation of the 2030 sustainable development strategy, which aims to raise the efficiency of the state’s administrative apparatus by developing leadership and administrative capabilities and skills for middle and upper management.
El-Said stressed the state’s keenness to invest in people as the basis of the development process, as the Egyptian state adopts a plan that takes into account the development of the characteristics and skills of workers, especially the middle leaders in the administrative apparatus who will, in turn, assume leadership in the coming periods.
El-Said noted that the training programs and grants offered by the state are in partnership with the most prestigious local and international institutions.
The study in the program includes teaching accounting materials for managers, business research methods for managers, temporary management, economics, field project, financial management, human resources management, leadership, information management system, marketing management, principles of governance, principles of entrepreneurship, Public Finance, Quantitative Business Analysis, and strategic management.
