Planning Minister holds a meeting to discuss development priorities in "A Decent Life" presidential initiative

Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El-Said held a meeting to discuss the priorities of the development interventions required in "A Decent Life" presidential initiative.
The meeting comes in light of the results of the comprehensive survey of the characteristics of the local community 2020, which was conducted by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). The survey included 4,658 villages in 22 Governorate, in preparation for presentation to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
During the meeting, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development stressed the necessity of adopting the scientific approach in planning to implement the presidential initiative. El-Sai stressed the need to use the statistical data provided by CAPMAS to build a complete perception of the interventions that must be implemented in the villages.
El-Said emphasised the need to analyze the results of the local community survey and understand the most important needs of villages and centers according to the data collected in the field.
Accordingly, the interventions would take place in a manner that meets the needs of the villagers, achieves their interests, and is consistent with the objectives of the Egyptian state and the directives of the political leadership.
