COP27 Highlights:Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development discusses with her Pakistani counterpart ways of cooperation

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, met Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Planning and Development of Pakistan, to discuss ways of cooperation.
This came on the sidelines of the activities of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), which Egypt is hosting in Sharm El-Sheikh from November 7-18.During the meeting, Dr. Hala El-Said referred to the opportunities for regional economic cooperation between Egypt and Pakistan, which is a major regional hub between the various surrounding regions.El-Said asserted the Egyptian state's welcome to the promotion and development of bilateral cooperation and the exchange of experiences in various fields between Egypt and Pakistan.The Minister of Planning and Economic Development indicated that Egypt's hosting of the COP 27 Climate Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh supports opening the door to more opportunities for cooperation and partnerships, expanding the scope of collective green recovery, and mobilizing all stakeholders to participate effectively in climate action.
