On the sidelines of Cop 27 in Sharm El-Sheikh: The Minister of Planning and Economic Development meets the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, received His Excellency Minister Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the United Arab Emirates, during his visit to the Egyptian pavilion in the Blue Zone at the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on COP27.Egypt will host the climate summit in Sharm El Sheikh during the period from 7-18 November, in the presence of several heads of countries in the world, and wide international participation in the presence of more than 40,000 participants representing about 190 countries, and dozens of international and regional organizations.During the meeting, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development was keen to accompany the UAE Foreign Minister on an inspection tour of the Egyptian wing and to review the artistic pieces offered to the pavilion and their relationship to climate issues and their expression of Egyptian culture.Dr. Hala El-Said confirmed her appreciation for the visit of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed to the Egyptian wing, which comes within the framework of consolidating the distinguished relations between Egypt and the Emirates that will host the COP28 conference next year.El-Said pointed out that the visit also reflects the keenness of the United Arab Emirates to support Egypt's hosting of the current session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
