Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development inspects the ministry's pavilion at COP27.

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, inspected the ministry’s pavilion on Sunday at the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27).
The conference will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh from November 7-18, in the presence of several world heads of state, with wide international participation, with the attendance of more than 40,000 people representing about 190 countries, and dozens of international and regional organizations.
During her inspection tour, Dr. Hala El-Said met with the work team based on the ministry's pavilion and reviewed with the team the presentations and information that will be showcased during the days of the conference and which will discuss several key files that the ministry is working on.
El-Said also followed up on the work progress in the pavilion and put the final touches in preparation for the start of the conference.The pavilion of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development at the COP27 conference includes a presentation of the most relevant information about the Rowad (Pioneers) 2030 project, the National Initiative for Green Smart Projects and Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence, the Be an Ambassador initiative, and the presidential initiative "Decent Life”.
The pavilion also includes a special corner for the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
Through this corner, attendees can view NIGSD's publications and experience training simulation tools aimed at spreading awareness of sustainability and climate change.
