The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, ERI sign a cooperation protocol to develop the information infrastructure

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development signed a cooperation protocol with the Electronics Research Institute (ERI) in the field of developing the information infrastructure.


H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Egypt's Minister of Planning explained that the protocol comes in light of the ministry's keenness to provide all support to the Electronics Research Institute from the infrastructure that qualifies it to host the systems and websites of various government agencies.

For his part, Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez explained that the two parties agreed to work to support the economy and increase investment opportunities in the outputs of scientific research and entrepreneurship, especially in the field of digital transformation and the applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.




Abdel Hafeez added that out of the keenness of the two parties to integrate services, it was agreed, according to the protocol, to cooperate and exchange expertise and technical and scientific advice to both parties.
